Qabaret: A Queer Cabaret, or “The Qab,” is a fun and informal night celebrating Queer joy through performances of our favorite musical theatre songs, somehow made even gayer. Previous highlights have included Butch “Greased Lightnin’,” chaotic covers of almost every song from Spring Awakening, and gay versions of about 100 different famous duets.
The Qab began as a top surgery fundraiser in 2018. This year’s performance will benefit Magpie Artists' Ensemble, supporting us in our mission to foster a community of intersectional Queer artists and audiences, connected across all barriers.

7pm | Doors Open
From 7-8pm, audiences are invited to join us for a fundraiser in the beautiful ballroom at Dom Polski, where they can enjoy complimentary donuts (thanks, Mighty-O!) and non-alcoholic bubbly as we celebrate the past year of innovative art and Queer community.
8pm | Curtain
The performance will begin at 8pm, and include Queer spins on all your musical theatre favorites - from "Marian the Librarian" (The Music Man) with lesbians to trans masc "Take It Like a Man" (Legally Blonde), and more!
9:30pm | Season Announcement
The show will end with our much-anticipated 2025 Season Announcement, followed by our traditional "Do You Hear the People Sing?" (Les Mis) sing-along finale.
